Cancellation and Refund Policy

As a passenger, you must know the cancellation policy of Journeyhoper as you may need to cancel your flights due to unforseen reasons. We are subject to cancel your flight if there is any unavoidable change or any operational changes such as bad weather, fuel emergency or many other things. As a user, you have to read and review our policies carefully to be fully aware of our cancellation and refund policy. Below is the detail of our policy; carefully review it.

  • Bookings made under JourneyHoper are all subject to the cancellation changes imposed by the airlines.
  • The cancellation fees may vary depending on the type of flight and booking classes.
  • The cancellation charges, JourneyHoper charges 300rs for domestic and 500rs for international flight tickets.
  • The charges for EMTC insurance are non-refundable.
  • Some bookings are non-refundable under the guidelines of airlines.
  • According to the airline's policies, some bookings can not be cancelled partially.
  • Convenience fees are going to be non-refundable always.
  • Customers can cancel the booking online and offline by going through the my booking sections directly or can choose to mail JourneyHoper for the cancellation.
  • JourneyHoper assists you with your queries and helps you in making changes regarding your bookings. If you want to contact the airline direclty, we can also help you.
  • The alteration charges are imposed according to the airline rules that vary from flight and booking classes.

If there is a case of a no-show, the number of refunds depends on the airline. For any valid refund, according to airline policy, the customer should contact Airine directly, as JourneyHoper has nothing to do with the refund amount.

Customers can ask for a valid refund within 90 days of the travel date for the flight and hotel bookings. No refund should be given if the query is raised after 90 days of the travel date in case of on-show or unutilised bookings.

The cancellation refund is processed within 7 business days once the request is put out there. If the cancellation is done through the airline directly refund will be processed after deducting airline charges along with JourneyHopers service charges.

Holiday Cancellation Charges:

  • Cancellation within 6-8 days before the tour departure: 100% of the tour cost will be charged.
  • Cancellation before 9-15 days of departure, 75% of the tour cost will be charged as the cancellation fees.
  • Cancellation before 30 days of departure, 50% of the tour cost will be charged for cancellation.
  • Cancellation before 60 days of the departure, 25% of the tour cost will be charged.
  • Cancellation within 90 days of departure: 5% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Refund Policy:

  • Refunds will only be processed by JourneyHoper after getting the cancellation request from the customer or travel agent through my bookings section of JourneyHoper or email.
  • After receiving the refund amount from the airlines, the cancellation refund will be directly credited to the customer's mode of payment.
  • Refund will be processed within 72 hours of receiving the request.
  • While it takes 72 hours for the credit of refund, it may also take 7 business days in the case of net banking.
  • The wallet amount used for the transaction will not be transferred to the bank. However, you can later use the wallet amount for future bookings with us.
